Lindisfarne Gospels 2013
In 2013 the Lindisfarne Gospels returned to North East England for three months, along with the Cuthbert Gospel, the oldest book still in its original binding.
To celebrate, we released three new books to accompany the exhibition, two of which have been published in collaboration with Durham University and Durham Cathedral. They are available to buy from the Cathedral Shop, the World Heritage Site Visitor Centre, or directly from Sacristy Press online.
For more information about the Lindisfarne Gospels exhibition in Durham from July to September 2013, visit www.lindisfarnegospels.com.
